South Harrison High School is now accepting applications for the position of High School English, for the 2026-2027 school year.  This position will instruct Freshmen ELA sections with two additional elective preps.  The successful applicant should be certified in 9th grade ELA or be able to achieve certification in a reasonable period of time.  South Harrison High School has a population of approximately 225 students in grades 9-12 and the average class size for this position is 13 students per class.  South Harrison is located in Bethany, MO and is an hour and 20 minutes north of Kansas City on I-35.  Please direct questions to Jason Slaughter, High School Principal, at (660)425-8051 or jslaughter@shr2.k12.mo.us
